HTML Reports

Creating compiled documentation reports for sharing or printing is essential in documentation process. SQL Source Control™ 2003 allows to create customized documentation reports, that can be saved as HTML files and printed from the application. You choose items, that are included in the documentation through Documentation Report Items dialog, designed to look familiar to SQL Enterprise Manager users.

You may choose, which database items to include in/exclude from the documentation report, by:
  • checking/unchecking one of the Objects to include in Documentation Report checkboxes
  • double-clicking connection/database items group/database item node in the treeview (left treeview when adding, right treeview when removing from documentation report)
  • selecting connection/database items group/database item node in the treeview and clicking add/remove buttons
By clicking Generate button you begin documentation report generation process.

Depending on the size of the database and number of database items choosed, this process may take from several seconds to several minutes.
